It turns out that working in social media is a great transferable skill for creating app content — having to craft snappy, to the point copy coupled with clever design to maximise the limited screen space you have while keeping users interested is always a fun challenge.

During my time as content editor at Flo Health, I worked on a range of ‘daily insight’ story screens that users would see based on symptoms or activities logged. I also wrote and edited a range of articles and created a new video format called ‘a doctor reacts’, to utilise a previously untapped user-generated content source; Flo’s Secret Chats forum.
